There was no mistaking my excitement when I saw a bright and cheery, orange vehicle parked outside the canteen. It was Old Chang Kee Mobile Kitchen!
When parents arrived, the Mobile Kitchen assistants were already busy frying the curry puffs and packing them in the handy paper bags.
In no time at all, we were pleasantly surprised that the 1,500 curry puffs for the students, were almost ready, in time for recess.
The curry puffs were laid out neatly at the serving counter, with parents waiting for the arrival of the first students.
Can we have another one? |
Parents were very touched when 2 classes, 1 Blessing and 1 Endurance presented ther thanks in little art-work as tokens of their appreciation, as well as 2 Faith for their "heart" tokens for each parent present, made out of clear drinking straws.
