The lower secondary classes went to the Singapore Science Center for a lesson on "Pond study".
PSG was involved in "chaperoning" these students, and while learning, we had fun.
Below are some photos (1st to 3rd) showing how the students gather their specimens.
Thereafter, (photos 4th to 6th), they brought the specimens back to the lab where they examine through 2 kinds of microscopes.
It's what we classify as "hands-on learning through fun!"
These photos were taken by Celia (a PSG member), who accompanied the students to the Science Center on 29 May 2009. Thanks Celia for sharing with us ... these photos were certainly bringing back memories of "longkang" fishing!
