Financial Assistance Programme

Dear Parents,

Our children are a blessed lot.

Most of them need not worry about the day-to-day struggle to make ends meet as parents are financially secured.  They only need to study.

Yet, they are a number of students who are not so fortunate.  With combined family incomes barely enough, they may not even have a computer at home.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to these students.  So for the past few years, PSG has took it  as our responsibility to give something extra to these students, during festive times.  So during Hari Raya Puasa, PSG gave gifts in the form of vouchers to Malay students under the Financial Assistance Programme.  Similarly, during Chinese New Year, Chinese students under this programme will receive a "red packet".  This year, NTUC vouchers were given.

PSG was very touched when some recipients of the "red packet" made Thank-You cards to express their appreciation.  We would like to share these cards with you.

Financial Assistance Programme is an on-going programme and every year, there is no lack of students who require financial assistance. This year, more than 60 "red packets" were presented to these FA students.

For this reason, PSG Chairperson, Mrs Jenny Chin, has made an appeal for funds during the Sec 1 Meet-the-Parents session in Jan.

There can never be enough for students.  PSG will do its part to assist them and we welcome your contributions, to help us help them.

If you wish to make a contribution, please send us an email, requesting an Appeal for Funds form, at our email address psg@preshigh.edu.sg.  We will reply as soon as possible.
